  • Responsibilities:

    • Lead advanced data analysis initiatives, extracting actionable insights from complex datasets such as customer data, ads data, and transactional data.

    • Create and deploy advanced predictive models to forecast future behaviour and outcomes based on historical data trends.

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify business challenges and opportunities that can be addressed through data-driven strategies.

    • Oversee data preprocessing, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline.

    • Conduct comprehensive exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies that drive strategic recommendations.

    • Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning algorithms to create predictive and prescriptive models.

    • Present findings to non-technical stakeholders using compelling visualizations and clear communication, influencing strategic decision-making.

    • Stay abreast of the latest data science trends and technologies, contributing to the continuous enhancement of the team’s capabilities.

  • Qualifications:

    • Proven 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making.

    • Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, manipulation, and analysis of relational databases.

    • Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) for advanced data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.

    • In-depth knowledge of well-known machine learning models for tabular data, such as Gradient Boosting Machines (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM), Random Forest, and Support Vector Machines.
      Proven experience in applying ensemble methods to enhance model performance and interpretability.
      Ability to optimize and fine-tune model hyperparameters for improved predictive accuracy.
      Familiarity with feature engineering techniques, including target encoding, feature selection, and creating interaction features.

    • Strong grasp of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and model evaluation.

    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to deconstruct complex issues into innovative solutions.

    • Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and presentation to stakeholders.

    • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn, Tableau) is advantageous.

    • Prior experience in the marketing or e-commerce sector is a plus.
