Graphic Designer

We are looking for a graphic designer and video editor to create engaging and on-brand
graphics and videos for a variety of media.

Responsibilities:

● Study design briefs and determine requirements
● Schedule projects and define budget constraints
● Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
● Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
● Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
● Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
● Work with copywriters and managers to produce final design
● Test graphics across various media
● Amend designs after feedback
● Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
● Develop illustrations, logos
● Other designs can change to – logos, posters, banners
● Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each *graphic* – Replace graphic with design
● Create animation, gifs, and short videos

Requirements:

● Experience 4+ years
● Proven graphic designing experience
● A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
● Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
● Experience in video creation and editing software and tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects)
● A keen eye for aesthetics and details
● Good communication skills
● Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
● Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
● A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics – Portfolio of illustrations, branding, posters/banners and so on.
